We’re often asked, “Who is your dream brand to work with?” and I’ve remained consistent in my belief that the answer is not a particular brand but rather a situation.

If you’ve worked in services on the agency side for even a little while, you start to realize how important fit and situation are for all parties to succeed.

So, what does that ideal fit and situation look like?

1. Mutual trust and respect
2. True transparency
3. Embracing difficult conversations
4. Clearly defined swim lanes
5. Consistent goals & expectations

Not all partnerships are perfect, but even if 2-3 of these traits are present, you’re in a better position than most
